GREET rises from the ashes of anarchist black metal band, Dawn Ray’d. It is the solo project of former drummer Matthew Broadley. Greet uses a harmonium and voice as the centre piece to this dark and rich contemplative folk; combining the undulating drone of the harmonium with soothing melodies to channel grief, joy, nature, anger, revolution and revenge into enthralling folk vignettes. The enchanting sound evokes the dynamic, awe-inspiring and untameable landscape found in surrounding county of Yorkshire and conjures the cinematic atmosphere of folk horror films, blurring the lines between traditional folk and drone. The live Greet experience is beautifully minimalist; just voice, harmonium, earthen scents and your wandering thoughts. Greet’s new album, I Know How To Die, is out now via Dry Cough Records (UK/EU) and Fiadh Productions (US).

ANCIENT HOSTILITY perform close harmony folk singing to tell vivid, poetic stories of resistance, vulnerability and sadness. Interspersed with minimalist instrumental soundscapes and drawing on the irreverence of the 60s folk revival, these are songs rooted firmly in the present. Their debut album Sing As Loud As You Can is all lush three part harmonies – Simon Barr (formerly of Dawn Ray’d), Ash Ludd (All in Vain) and Sal Maguire – together their voices explore new ways to keep our radical histories alive, spanning the stories of the levellers and the diggers to very recent accounts of direct action, proving that folk music is very much a living tradition. Emotional tellings of relationships ending or the death of friends are told in their signature way of finding new routes through difficult terrain, constantly breaking free of the constraints of conservatism. The unflinching honesty of their lyrics has seen them captivate rooms full of anarcho punks as well as traditional folk clubs across the UK and mainland Europe; this is music for ordinary people who recognise the growing darkness but refuse to give up on the remaining light.

DRUIDS CROSS are a five piece metal band from Liverpool, formed in early 2022. Time Immemorial is the band’s debut full-length album and was recorded during a bleak January of 2024. Beautifully mastered by Magnus Lindberg of post metal legends Cult of Luna in Stockholm (Sweden) the album was released in August of the same year with a celebratory launch show at Dark Earth Records.  Since then band have progressed and delved deeper into regional folklore, myths and antiquity. Most recently the band recorded a live acoustic EP, Songs of Lore: Snowdonia, in an isolated bothy in the mountains of North Wales – each song exploring the rich folklore of the area. The band will give an acoustic performance of these songs, including a rare inclusion of Holly & Oak from their debut album which tells the tale of the eternal battle between the Holly King and the Oak King. In addition, selected songs from the band’s back catalogue will be specially reinterpreted for this unique acoustic set.

ORCHIDS is the new gothic folk project of Liverpool-based musician and producer Alex Holbourn. They play melancholic instrumental pieces through traditional instrumentation, with melodies that soothe the ear and stir the soul. Orchids will be performing new material for the very first time since the release of their debut Demo MMXXV from 2025.
