CLARE CHINNERY: VANITAS

Clare is an artist living and working in the Wirral, Merseyside. Her semi-abstract style of painting is concerned with capturing light, shape and form taking inspiration from Dutch ‘Vanitas’ still lives. Gothic and Surrealist art inspire her macabre assemblage sculptures.
She studied Fine Art Painting at Liverpool John Moores University, where she developed her style concentrating mainly on an abstract approach to landscapes.
Clare’s work has been exhibited worldwide and she has paintings in collections in China, USA, New Zealand, and the UK.
